The Costa del Sol favourites – Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Torremolinos – still retain some of their old magical charm – though Marbella, Puerto Banus, Estepona are the places to be seen today. Malaga is still an authentic and beautiful Spanish town with hardly a tourist in sight!

Everyone is at it! Superb terrain for mountain bike riders. Inland from the Costa del Sol there are numerous cycle paths of varying categories to choose from. Cycling has become an extremely popular sport in the Alhaurin - Costa area.

Rare and majestic Iberian birds abound in this rural area. The Sierra de las Nieves and the Sierra de Mijas are abundant with birdlife. You just need your binos.
